Why three discs beats twenty

New players almost always buy too many discs and too much speed. Three discs teach you what each one actually does, because you throw each of them often enough to learn it. This set is built around that principle, and it is the setup experienced players recommend to anyone starting out.

What is in the set

GUI — putter (2 / 3 / 0 / 2)

Moderate speed with precise control on both straight and curved shots, and Yikun's GRIP ZONE anti-slip panel moulded into the underside. Works for putting and for approach shots out to 80 or 90 metres.

KUI — midrange (5 / 5 / 0 / 2.5)

A broad, precise rim that glides well and fades consistently. Stable enough to hold whatever line you give it, with enough reach to rival a driver on the longer midrange throws.

HU — fairway driver (9 / 5 / -2 / 2)

A traditional fairway driver with a recognisable S-shaped flight: a gentle turn to the right followed by a dependable fade back. Speed 9 is fast enough to travel and slow enough to actually control.
